We offer a range of fun, exciting sport and activity camps for children and youths in a friendly, inclusive environment, taught by high-calibre, qualified coaches and camp leaders. ‘It is play and work, give and take and growth of your body, mind and soul’. The 3 weeks long camp will be divided into two sessions. A fee of Rf1000 for 3 weeks, Rf750 for 2 weeks and Rf400 for only 1 week will be required to participate. Those who achieved discount awards in Mathemania 2011 will be able to use their discount coupon. Application forms are now available from the School. The school will provide essential books and items for the camp. Students of Grade 1-8 are eligible to participate in the summer camp. Registration is still open. Lale Youth International School (LYIS) has announced the opening of the admission process for the academic year 2012. Interested students will take part in an entrance exam in accordance with the school's admission policy. Entrance exam will be held on 22nd Oct 2011 and 15th Nov 2011. The exam will be conducted in two sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Morning session exam will start at 10:00am at Lale School Hall, while the afternoon session starts at 14:00pm. Each student will have to appear only in one session, either morning or afternoon session. An exam entrance card will be issued to the students taking part in the exam. Lale Youth International School hosted its 3rd annual Mathemania Awards evening on the 16th of September 2011 at Darubaaruge. Over a thousand participants from seventeen schools (including six from Addu Atoll) participated in the prestigious Mathemania Puzzle competition. The aim of this competition is to cultivate a nationwide love for Mathematics among Maldivian youth.
